Overview
Harishchandragad is the Sahyadris at their most dramatic — a 6th-century hill fort crowned by Konkan Kada, a 1,400-metre concave cliff that drops sheer into the Konkan plains. We trek up via the Pachnai route, explore ancient caves and the Kedareshwar temple, and camp overnight on the plateau under a sky untouched by city light.
