Kalakrai Climbing Expedition” being a difficult pinnacle in Maharashtra, and very few trekkers manage to reach the top. The technical expertise needed to climb this pinnacle as reaching summit involves 200 ft technical climbing & while descending approx 200 ft rappelling which requires all mountaineering equipments & certified experience.
This is one of the satisfied climb in Sahyadri. The grade of the Kalakrai pinnacle from the col side is considered as Moderate. There are total 4 stages of climbing. The first one is easy climb one can find good condition bolts on the way. One can use the same for runner. The second stage is also a bit climb & traversing to the right most overhang. One can find 2 Pitons fixed for runner but one should check the condition before.

• Participants will be responsible for their own belongings and health issues.
• Avoid wearing gold or other costly jewellery.
• Smoking and Drinking are strictly prohibited. Organisers are not going to tolerate such acts.
• Keep in mind we are going for Trek not for trip or picnic, so maintain the discipline and follow leader’s instructions for your own safety.
• Trek leader’s decision will be final and binding. Organizers reserves all the right to change/deviate/cancel the plan without prior notice.
• In case, due to some unavoidable conditions (like natural disaster, change in government or local authorities policy etc) the event gets cancelled before/on the event date or during trek, Trek fees will be refunded except nominal expenses which are already spent till that point.
